Where you are a resident of a US state with a comprehensive privacy law — California under the CCPA/CPRA, or Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or another state with a similar statute — the following supplements our Privacy Policy.
Exercising Your Rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Some states also allow you to appeal a refusal. Exercising any of this will not get you worse service, higher prices, or reduced access — discrimination for using these rights is prohibited and we do not do it.
Sharing for Advertising
No personal information is exchanged for money. But where advertising runs on this site, cookie and device identifiers may go to advertising partners, and the broad statutory definitions of ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ can capture that. It is opt-out-able — see Do Not Sell or Share My Information. We do not knowingly sell or share data belonging to minors under 16.
Data Categories Involved
What is covered: identifiers, including IP address and cookie or device IDs; internet activity, meaning your navigation of this site; and, if you gave one, an email address. These reach us from your own browser and from analytics or advertising partners where such partners are active.
How to Ask
Email hello@planwithjoy.com and say what you want to do. For opt-outs specifically, the fastest route is to switch on Global Privacy Control in your browser — we detect and honour it automatically, with no message required. We will verify a request by replying to the address it came from, and respond within the period state law allows. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission.
